Individual & Couple Therapy

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy includes counselling and psychotherapy with a trained therapist to help you manage a variety of issues. Interpersonal relationships and stressful events can give rise to feelings and experiences that can be difficult to make sense of and manage on your own. In the midst of these difficulties you may feel confused, discouraged and alone. Your therapist will work jointly with you to explore emotions, beliefs and behaviours that leave you feeling stuck. Once you and your therapist set some goals collaboratively they will draw upon evidence based theories such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Meditation and trauma based approaches to help cultivate a greater sense of stability, calm and create lasting change.

Youth Counselling

Teenage is a time of transition and a variety of challenges can arise. Whether you are struggling with school, experiencing melodrama with friends, feeling uncertain about your future or fighting with your parents it can be difficult to find perspective.
